Who Can Join
Anyone interested in any branch of plant culture can join the Society.
What it does?
- Organizes flower, fruit and vegetable shows.
- Imparts free technical advice to members.
- Gets the gardens of members inspected by experts free of charge.
- Provides publications of the Society to members without charge.
- Provides assistance to members in procuring superior quality seeds and plants, locally and from abroad.
- Conducts short courses in gardening, etc.
- Holds seminars, workshops, etc.
- Practical training programs at HSP/DHA Garden Centre.
Rates of Admission and Subscription
- Student Membership Fee: Rs.1,000
- Annual Subscription Fees: Rs.10,000
- Life Membership Fees, Individual: Rs.50,000
- Affiliation Fees: Rs.50,000
Private Firms:
- Small Private Ltd. Partnerships & Proprietorship: Rs.150,000
- Large Private Ltd. Partnerships & Proprietorship: Rs.250,000
Public Listed Companies:
- Paid up Capital – less than Rs. 1 billion: Rs.400,000
- Paid up Capital – between Rs. 1 billion & 10 billion: Rs.600,000
- Paid up Capital – greater than Rs. 10 billion: Rs.1200,000
